Swedavia is a state-owned company for aviation infrastructure in Sweden and has its headquarters in Stockholm / Arlanda . It was created on April 1, 2010, when the Swedish aviation company LFV split up into the areas of airport operations and air traffic control .

Swedavia operates the 10 state airports:

Since 2010 the airports in Ängelholm / Helsingborg, Karlstad , Sundsvall / Härnösand and Örnsköldsvik have been handed over to regional operators.

Swedavia has approximately 2400 employees and a turnover of 5.2 billion SEK (~ 550 million euros).

Development of the number of passengers

In April 2019 it was announced that Swedavia had recorded a decrease in passenger numbers for seven consecutive months compared to the previous year.
