The Kiruna Airport (Swedish Kiruna flygplats , English Kiruna Airport ) near the town of Kiruna is the northernmost airport in Sweden.
In addition to private planes, scheduled flights are also handled at this smaller airport. Currently operate u. a. SAS Scandinavian Airlines and Norwegian Air Shuttle route routes to Stockholm . In addition, regional destinations are also served. Almost 250,000 passengers were handled in 2016.
The Doppler VOR Kiruna (KRA, 115.20) , which is equipped with a DME , is located at the airfield .
