The Stockholm Västerås Airport ( IATA code : VST ; ICAO code : ESOW ; Swedish : Stockholm Västerås flygplats ) is the commercial airport of the Swedish city of Västerås about 100 kilometers west of Stockholm .
Location and transport links
The airport is around 5 km east of downtown Västerås on the E 18 . There is a direct connection with Flygbussarna to Stockholm Central Station , the journey time is around 90 minutes.
Airlines and Destinations
Västerås is currently served exclusively by the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair , which offers regular connections to London-Stansted and seasonal flights to Alicante and Málaga .
Other airports in the region are Stockholm International Airport, Arlanda , Bromma City Airport and Stockholm-Skavsta Airport , which is also mainly used by low-cost airlines.
