Swimsports.ch , formerly the Inter Association for Swimming (IVSCH), is the association of associations and institutions in Switzerland interested in swimming .
history
The amalgamation of associations and institutions interested in swimming has a long and very broad tradition in Switzerland. In addition to the four Olympic swimming sports represented in the Swiss Swimming Association (FSN) (pool and open water swimming , water jumping , synchronized swimming , water polo ), this also includes school sports, popular sports and lifeguarding .

tasks
Swimsports.ch has set itself various tasks in accordance with the broad membership structure:
- Offer as many people as possible of all ages the opportunity to experience swimming in one of its many facets on a regular basis
- Ensuring high-quality training for swimming leaders
- To teach children and young people as well as adults to swim
- Coordination of the Swiss tests in swimming
- Sponsor and partner in projects that are interesting for swimming
- Management of a Swiss information and service center in the interests of members and those interested in swimming
This includes extensive public relations work with the support of the federal government, cantons and sponsors, the training of swimming instructors (SI) (specialist teachers), course leaders (baby, children, school, senior swimming , etc.), youth and sports leaders and Trainers for competitive sports, organization of national mass sports events (lake crossings, river swimming), teaching materials for schools, swimming tests, research, safety, quality management, certification of swimming schools, etc.
