The animated and musical presentation (which shows singing and dancing monkeys) caricatures jazz greats of the time such as Cab Calloway , Ted Lewis and Bessie Smith . For the film music with the singing of the Basin Street Boys was u. a. the St. Louis Blues used by toilet cell phones ; the music also makes reference to Louis Armstrong's version of the classic " St. James Infirmary ".
