Sydney Martineau (born January 6, 1863 in London , † December 19, 1945 ibid) was a British fencer .
successes
Sydney Martineau took part in two Olympic Games : at the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he was eliminated in the epee singles in the preliminary round. In 1912 he secured the silver medal in the team competition with the sword in Stockholm with Edgar Amphlett , John Blake , Percival May Davson , Arthur Everitt , Martin Holt , Robert Montgomerie and Edgar Seligman . In the individual, Martineau failed with the sword as well as with the foil.
