List of organic seals

The list of organic seals includes a selection of state and private organic seals . The organic seal is a seal of quality and approval with which products from organic farming are labeled. The criteria are different and partly regulated by law, for example by the EC organic regulation , partly by the criteria of cultivation associations . Organic products meet food law standards that go beyond conventional products. Halāl meat must not be labeled with the EU organic seal.

Bavarian organic seal Germany state The Bavarian organic seal was introduced in 2015.
AMA organic seal Austria state There are two types: with and without an indication of the origin. The black and white seal without indication of origin does not restrict the place of treatment and processing or the origin of the organic raw materials.

EKO Netherlands Private Awarded by the Dutch organization Stichting EKO-keurmerk . The criteria complement the European seal; it may only be attached additionally.
