Sylva Schüler (born October 21, 1926 in Magdeburg ) is a German actress , program speaker and presenter .

Life

Schüler studied from 1945 to 1947 at the Magdeburg drama studio. Until the early 1960s she worked at theaters in Magdeburg and Halle (Saale) and gave guest performances at the Volksbühne in Berlin . But since the second half of the 1950s she mainly worked for television. She had major leading roles, for example, in the multi-part Escape from Hell (1960) and in the television film Die Liebe und der Co-Pilot (1961). A serious traffic accident in 1965, in which Manfred Raasch and Günther Haack, two artist colleagues were killed, forced them to accept only minor roles for health reasons. She was seen in several productions of the Moritzburg TV theater in Halle .
