Manfred Raasch

Manfred Raasch (born July 13, 1931 in Berlin ; † June 8, 1965 with Delitzsch ) was a German actor and singer .

Life

In the mid-1960s Raasch published various hits and appeared in television films such as Liebe post restante (1963) and Tresorknacker (1964). In 1965 he worked as a spokesperson for the DEFA music film Nothing but Sins . Raasch was also known by the stage name Ole Jelten. Under this pseudonym he recorded some records with shanties and shanties between 1963 and 1964. In 1964 he appeared several times with some of these songs on the DFF television program Klock 8, aft Strom .

He died on June 8, 1965 as a result of a traffic accident . His colleague, the cabaret artist and actor Günther Haack , was also a passenger in the accident vehicle. While Raasch succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident, Haack died at the age of only 36, just a few days after the tragic event, on June 16, 1965 in Halle (Saale). The accident occurred in the evening while driving back from Bitterfeld to Leipzig to the hotel on the F184 between the villages of Brodau and Brodenaundorf, which are districts of the municipality of Zschortau. Raasch left his wife and daughter.
