Sylvain Dufour (born November 19, 1982 in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges ) is a French snowboarder .

On November 27, 1999 , he drove his first World Cup race in Tignes . Since then he has competed in 90 other races. At the World Cup race in the parallel giant slalom in Piedmont in December 2008 , he finished second. In March 2011 he won his first World Cup victory in the parallel giant slalom in Valmalenco . In the 2013/14 season he won the parallel slalom in Carezza and the parallel giant slalom in Sudelfeld .

At the Snowboard World Championship 2009 he was runner-up in the disciplines of parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he finished tenth in the parallel giant slalom. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , he achieved 16th place in the parallel giant slalom and eleventh place in the parallel slalom.
