Sylvester William Treinen (born November 19, 1917 in Donnelly , Minnesota , USA , † September 30, 1996 ) was Bishop of Boise City .

Life

Sylvester William Treinen received on 11 June 1946, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 19, 1962, Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the Bishop of Boise City. The Bishop of Bismarck , Hilary Baumann Hacker , donated him episcopal ordination on July 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Saint Cloud , Peter William Bartholome , and the Bishop of Sioux Falls , Lambert Anthony Hoch . The inauguration took place on August 3, 1962.

On August 17, 1988, Pope John Paul II accepted Sylvester William Treinen's resignation on grounds of age.
