Synagogue Büdesheim (Schöneck)
The synagogue in Büdesheim , a district of the Schöneck community in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse , was built in 1865/66. The synagogue was located in the former Bacon Street, today Riedstraße 8. On the property also the Jewish community center was created in the basement which mikvah was located.
description
The synagogue building, which was built according to plans by the Büdesheim architect Johann Peter Thyriot (1833–1917), was 7.5 m long and 6.2 m wide. The side walls stood on a circumferential plinth that rose above the ground. Two arched windows were attached to the north, west and east sides. The synagogue had a hipped roof with a beaver tail covering . The synagogue had 26 places for men and 16 for women.

The synagogue was destroyed to the ground during the November pogrom in 1938 by SA men.
