Szarbia is a village in the Koniusza municipality in the Proszowicki powiat . It is located at an altitude of about 239 meters above sea level in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . The closest neighboring towns within a two kilometer radius are the village of Glew to the south, Glewiec to the west, Karwin to the north-east and Żudów to the south-east. The administrative center of the municipality is located in Koniusza about eight kilometers north of Szarbia. The main source of income for the village is agriculture.
In Szarbia excavations from 1997 to 1999 found dozens of graves and remains of early settlements from the Neolithic and the Early Bronze Age.
