The Tælavågisen ( Norwegian is) a 16 km-long and 7 km wide glacier area in the Heimefrontfjella the East Antarctic Queen Maud Lands . It is located in the southern part of the Kottas Mountains .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1985. It is named after the fishing town of Tælavåg near Bergen , a conspiratorial center of resistance against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
