Tóquio Porto 9 horas (German: Tokyo Porto 9 hours ) is a short film by the Portuguese director João Nuno Brochado from 2008. The 8-minute documentary compares everyday life in the two cities of Tokyo and Porto , which is characterized by a time difference of nine hours are separated.
The film was made at the Catholic University in Porto. It was shot in black and white using split-screen technology. The left half shows everyday scenes from Tokyo, the right half shows comparable scenes from Porto.
In 2008 he was in the national short film competition of the Doclisboa Festival .
