Ferdinand Leiß
Ferdinand Leiß (* 1910 in Munich ; † December 16, 2002 ) was a German local politician .
Career
Leiß, born and raised in Munich, was a member of the CSU . From May 1960 he was a member of the municipal council of Ottobrunn (Upper Bavaria). From May 20, 1962 to February 28, 1977, he held the post of First Mayor for 15 years . The community partnership with Margreid in South Tyrol goes back to his initiative .
In addition, he was a member of the district council in the district of Munich from 1966 to 1984 , from 1968 to 1977 chairman of the association for state secondary schools in the southeast of the district of Munich and for many years chairman of the cultural district Ottobrunn e. V.
