The Törlspitze is 3052 m above sea level. A. high mountain peaks of the Umbal ridge in the Venediger group in East Tyrol ( Austria ). It is located in the north-west of East Tyrol on the municipal border between St. Jakob in Defereggen and Prägraten am Großvenediger . The first ascent of the Törlspitze is not known; J. Erlsbacher and V. Ladstätter made the first crossing in 1894.

The Törlspitze lies between the Schwarzen Törl ( 2941 m above sea level ) in the south and the Schwarzachtörl ( 2975 m above sea level ) in the north, with the Schwarze Törl being the Törlspitze from the Törlkopf ( 3010 m above sea level ) and the Schwarzachtörl separates the Törlspitze from the Schwarzachspitze ( 3,092 m above sea level ). To the west of the Törlspitze is the Schwarzachtal, to the east the mountain summit drops to the Karbach, which flows into the Daberbach (Dabertal).
Promotion opportunities
The normal route to the little-visited Törlspitze runs from the Oberhausalm over the Seebachalmen through the Schwarzachtal to the Törlbach, where an almost forgotten climb leads to the Törler Kreuz and on to the Törlschartl ( 3004 m above sea level ). Afterwards the Törlspitze can be climbed without difficulty via the southeast ridge, whereby the ascent in this case takes place via the | Törlkopf ( 3010 m above sea level ) and through the Schwarze Törl. Alternatively, the ascent from Törler Kreuz can also be made directly from Schwarzen Törl. Due to the low location of the Oberhausalm, the Törlspitze is often climbed from the Neue Reichenberger Hütte , with a path branching off from the path to the Rotenmanntörl north to the Schwarzen Törl. Another variant for the ascent of the Törlspitze is the ascent over the north ridge from the Schwarzachtörl.
