The TSV Farge-Rekum (full name: Turn- und Sportvereinigung Farge-Rekum from 1890 eV ) is a sports club from the Bremen district of Farge . The first women's team took part in the DFB Cup once. The first men's team played in the highest Bremen amateur league for three years.
history
The association was founded on November 4, 1890. In addition to football, the TSV still provides health sports , handball , martial arts , table tennis and gymnastics on.
Women
The TSV Farge-Rekum women's team qualified for the DFB Cup in 1981. There the team was defeated by Rendsburger TSV just 1: 2 in the first round .
Men
The men's team achieved their greatest success in 1979 when they were promoted to the Bremen Association League . Three years later, the team was relegated. In the following years the team slipped down to the district league C. Since being promoted again in 2016, the TSV men played the 2017/2018 season in the regional league from which they were relegated as bottom of the table. They are currently competing in the district league.
