The club rose to the 1960/61 season in the 1st amateur league Hessen . After this season, the team finished twelfth with 32:36 points. But already after the next season , the team had to relegate back to the 2nd amateur league with 18:42 points over the last place in the table .
In the 2003/04 season, the team played in the regional league center and finished last in the table after this season with only 14 points, which meant relegation to the regional league . There the club then placed 13th with 43 points. After the 2007/08 season, the team was promoted again, but this time in the now newly introduced association league. From this league, the club then rose with 33 points over the 16th place immediately after the first season but also again. Back in the league now known as the group league, the club ended up in 13th place after this season with 36 points. After the 2010/11 season, there was another relegation due to 17th place. The next season in the Kreisoberliga Nord could only be finished with 41 points in ninth place. Only after the 2013/14 season, the team with the championship title then managed to rise again. Back in the group league, this could then also be kept in twelfth place. But already after the following season it went with only 22 points over 16. and thus last place again one league lower. The 2016/17 season was finally finished in fourth place in the group league. The team still plays in this league today.
athletics
At the German championship in 1984, the 3 x 800 m relay won the bronze medal. As a member of this relay, Gabriela Lesch also won the bronze medal at the championships in 1986 over the 800 m . She was able to repeat this placement the following year . In 1994 Heike Tillack was able to achieve bronze again over the 100 m hurdles .
