TV Allstars was a charity project for several German pop singers at Christmas 2003. Together they covered the band aid song Do They Know It's Christmas? from 1985 and recorded an album of Christmas carols. Part of the proceeds went to SOS Children's Villages around the world. In 2004 the single and album were each awarded a gold record in Germany for a total of 250,000 units sold.
Participating artists
Only artists came together for the project who had become known through casting shows from various broadcasters in Germany ( Popstars , Deutschland sucht den Superstar and Star Search ).
