history

Antoine Charles Louis de Tabouillot (1775–1813), Franco-German landowner, Prussian captain and mayor ( Maire ) in Essen

Antoine Charles Louis de Tabouillot (* 1775 in Verdun , † 1813), son of the conseiller du roi Louis François de Tabouillot (1733–1806) and Anne de Grand-Fèvre (1747–1794), fled during the French Revolution in 1793 to Prussia . The family's property was confiscated and the mother was guillotined in Paris in 1794. Louis de Tabouillot became a lieutenant in the Prussian army in 1795 and left the service as a captain in 1810 . In 1811 he was mayor in food . Louis de Tabouillot married Philippina Johanna von Brüning (1777-1835) in 1802. Her son was Franz Georg Karl Wilhelm von Tabouillot (* 1803), who became a judge in Münster. He was married to Karoline Luise Alexandrine von Scheibler . She was a descendant of the philosopher Christoph Scheibler (1589–1653). On June 29, 1858 the family received the Prussian approval for the association of names and coats of arms and henceforth called themselves von Tabouillot called von Scheibler . Her only son was Premier Lieutenant Ferdinand Franz Ludwig Heinrich Johann von Tabouillot called von Scheibler (1840–1869), who died at the age of 29.
