Taha Serhani
Taha Serhani (born May 27, 1995 ) is a Swiss gymnast . The Winterthur gymnast from TV Hegi won the bronze medal at the 2012 European Gymnastics Championships together with the Swiss junior team .
At the 2014 Professional Swiss Championships in Widen , he was able to win medals in three disciplines: Second in the all- around competition and on the horse , and third on the horizontal bar . As fourth and fifth, respectively, he narrowly missed the medal ranks on the floor and on the parallel bars . A year later, he won silver on the horizontal bar at the home Swiss championships in Winterthur. In February of the same year Serhani was voted Winterthur Sportsman of the Year .
In 2015 he took part in the European Games in Baku and reached 9th place in the individual all-around competition.
In 2017, Taha placed himself in a sensational 8th place at his first European Championship in Cluj (ROM) on the horizontal bar. Unfortunately, he was unable to take part in the final, as two Swiss people ranked ahead of him and the rules of nations state that only two of the same nation can start in the final.
