Tahsin Tam (born September 15, 1969 in Bursa ) is a former Turkish football player and coach.

Player career

Tam started with professional football at the second division club Inegölspor . After he had been active for two seasons for this club, he moved to Bozüyükspor for the 1991/92 season within the 2nd Futbol Ligi . He left this club after one season and instead hired third division club TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor . He then played in various clubs in the lower Turkish professional and upper amateur leagues until 2003.

Coaching career

Tam began his coaching career after his playing career. He first worked for three years in the youth department of Bursaspor and then took over the reserve team of the club, the Bursaspor A2 team, in summer 2006. In 2007 he was introduced as head coach at the fourth division club Bursa Merinosspor and worked for the first time in his coaching career as head coach of a professional team. In March 2008 he left this club and started working again as head coach of the Bursaspor A2 team the next summer. In February 2010 he left Bursaspor.

For the new season he took over the position of assistant coach at the first division club Gaziantepspor and from then on assisted the head coach Tolunay Kafkas . After Tam had been in this position for three years, he took over the club's reserve team in the summer of 2013. At the end of March 2014, he took over the club's professional team, succeeding the resigned Sergen Yalçın . At the end of the season he was replaced by Okan Buruk .
