The Taksin Bridge ( Thai : สะพาน สมเด็จ พระเจ้าตากสิน , Saphan Somdet Phrachao Taksin ) is a bridge in Bangkok that spans the Mae Nam Chao Phraya ( Chao Phraya River ). It connects the boroughs of Sathon and Bang Rak - both on the east side of the river - with Khlong San on the west. It is named after the king Taksin .

The bridge is constructed in such a way that a large gap is left between the directional lanes in which the Bangkok Skytrain operates. On the east side are the Saphan Taksin Skytrain station and a boat dock for the ferry boats in Bangkok.
