The valley low in the Barnstorfer Wald is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony city ​​of Wolfsburg .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG BR 077 is approximately 34  hectares . It has been a nature reserve since April 2, 1987. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the city of Wolfsburg.

The nature reserve is located southeast of the city of Wolfsburg on the southern edge of the Barnstorfer Forest. It places part of a narrow valley area of ​​a stream under protection. In the valley area there are swamp forests , reed beds , sedges , tall herbaceous meadows and wet meadows .
