Tałty ( German Talter Gewässer ) is a lake on the territory of the Polish city of Mikołajki ( Nikolaiken ) in the powiat Mrągowski in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
The lake is approx. 12.5 km long, a maximum of 1.8 km wide and 18.4 km² in size. It is up to 50.8 m deep. To the north is the Jezioro Ryńskie (Rheiner See) . Both belong to the Masurian Lake District , and the Kanał Tałcki ( Talter Canal) connects Jezioro Tałty with Jezioro Tałtowisko (Little Talter Lake) .
In the lake the fish species can pike , perch , bream , tench , bleak , large whitefish ( whitefish ), rudd , roach , eel , burbot , walleye , catfish , carp u. a. be fished.
