Tanja Benedetto is a former German vaulting artist . She was two-time world and European champion and three-time German champion .

Career

Benedetto began vaulting in Kriftel , but achieved her greatest successes between 1994 and 1997 in the Mainz-Laubenheim riding club. From 1999 she worked as a physiotherapist and was also active as such for the German Equestrian Association (FN), supervising the vaulters of the federal squad at championships and preparatory courses. a. at the 2006 World Cup . She is now an editor at ZDF in Mainz . After completing her active career, she continues to be involved in the sport of vaulting as a competition judge, trainer and speaker. In 2010, she also took over the position of vaulting discipline trainer for the German Equestrian Olympiad Committee (DOKR) for the youth sector. In this role she supported national vaulting trainer Ulla Ramge at the 2010 World Equestrian Games .

Awards

In 1996 Giuri-Benedetto was awarded the FN's Golden Vaulting Badge . Because of her four gold medals at international championships of the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), Giuri-Benedetto received personal membership in the German Equestrian Olympics Committee (DOKR) for life.
