Tanja Jonak

Tanja Jonak (born November 19, 1970 in Tettnang , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German pop singer .

Life

In 1985 Tanja Jonak won the "Star of Tomorrow" competition organized by Südwestfunk in Baden-Baden . On the occasion of the award of the Golden Tuning Fork , she received the young talent award for her title In the Valley of 1000 Tears . In the following years, more singles were produced.

In 1989 the Jean Frankfurter / Irma Holder production team took over the young singer. In 1991 you wrote the title Hand in Hand in die Sonne for Jonak , with which you applied for the preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest , but only achieved 6th place.

After a few more recordings as a pop singer, Jonak devoted more of her studies to theater studies and art history in Munich , which she began in 1990 . Here she wrote a dissertation on English grave monuments of the 14th and 15th centuries.
