Tanja Rübcke (born January 22, 1969 in Hamburg ) is a German singer , actress and musical artist .

Life

Tanja Rübcke was born in Hamburg as the daughter of Karin Rübcke (née Lohstöter) and Helmut Rübcke. She received her first ballet lessons at the age of two and a half and stood on stage for the first time at the age of six. After ten years of ballet training with Ruth Scheurer, she completed her musical training at the stage studio Hedi Höpfner in Hamburg, at the Stage School of Dance and Drama, through various workshops with many international dancers, through to "Steps on Broadway" in New York. Due to her extensive dance training (ballet, jazz step, modern, flamenco, etc.), Tanja is often in demand as a lecturer, dance captain and choreographer. During her studies she made her debut at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater and danced in the world premiere of “ Himmel auf Erden ” in the Hamburger Kammerspiele, directed by Irene Mann . Engagements with " Cats " in the Operettenhaus Hamburg and in the " Starlight Express " in Bochum , as the only German actress at the time, followed.

Rübcke played Rizzo in the European premiere of " Grease " under the direction of Thomas Hermanns . After her breakthrough as “ Irma la Douce ” in Peter Ahrweiler'sDie kleine Komödie”, she toured at CS AIDA a . a. as Sugar in "Some Like It Hot" and as Lisa in "Blue Jeans" 8 months through the Caribbean and Mediterranean.

After several tours with “Women are strong!” and the rock'n roll musical “Only You”, Tanja is awarded the “Oscarike” as “Most lovable actress of the '99 / 2000 season”. Engagements from modern musicals to classics followed. Tanja got her first engagement at the Ohnsorg Theater in Hamburg in 2000. There she played the sea witch in “ The Little Mermaid ”. Since she was able to set a new milestone in Hamburg's cultural history in the Ohnsorg Theater's anniversary special "Wi rockt op Platt!" (2002–2009), Tanja has always remained loyal to the house. She played gala shows like "Musical Nights", "Voices of Musical" and her own swing shows "This Lady is a Tramp" and "Golden Swing" / "Golden Christmas". As an author, Tanja Rübcke wrote song texts in High and Low German as well as stage works such as “Fabelbare Weihnachten”.
