Tanja Raich (* 1986 in Meran ) is a writer from South Tyrol and lives in Vienna .

Life

Tanja Raich was born in Merano in 1986 and has lived in Vienna since 2005. She studied German and history at the University of Vienna and completed her thesis on the literary (re) construction of the bomb attacks in South Tyrol.

So far she has published short prose in various literary magazines and anthologies . She first gained greater fame with her debut novel Jesolo , published in 2019, which tells the story of a young woman who unexpectedly and unintentionally became pregnant up to the birth of the child.
