Tanzalarm (own spelling: TanzAlarm (since 2015), TANZALARM! (2004–2015)) is a television series produced jointly by KiKA and ZDF . Undine Otto-Beckmann (KiKA) and Gunnar Peschke ( ZDFtivi ) are responsible as editors . The pre-school series is produced by MingaMedia in Unterföhring . Peter Helling is responsible as producer, the director since season four has been Martin Maria Leckert. Peter Wolfgruber was in charge of the show as author and editor until season seven, and Franziska Rülke has been the supervising editor since season eight. The author is Ron Bergmann. Marina Schröter is responsible for the choreographies.

Rocky melodies, child-friendly texts and four dancing and singing girls who are still children themselves - these are the Tanzalarm kids. In addition to the production of videos and CDs, as well as a large number of live performances, a TV series was produced for KiKA in which bakers, pilots, farmers etc. are encouraged to dance along. In every episode, presenter Singa Gätgens , Tom Lehel (2004–2009, since 2015), Volker Rosin , Juri Tetzlaff (2008), Alex Huth (since 2010), herrH (since 2015), the band Deine Freunde (2015), and Kai will surprise you Lüftner (2017), the Tanzalarm-Kids and the Tanztapir (since 2017) adults in their environment. In 2009 the Tanzalarm went on a European tour for the first time. In Budapest , Paris , Ireland , Amsterdam , Cádiz and Santorini , Singa, Tom, Volker and the Tanzalarm-Kids not only make new friends, but also learn a lot about music and dances in the different countries. The Tanzalarm Club also started in 2019 . The Tanzalarm kids and Tanztapir welcome a prominent guest in the studio in Erfurt .

The Tanzalarm CD Vol. 1 and the first Tanzalarm DVD have now achieved gold status.

The dance alarm kids

The original line-up of the Tanzalarm kids consisted of Kinga, Ana, Banu and Patricia. In 2007 Banu left the band and Rachel joined the band. In 2009 Ana was replaced by the younger Lara (* 1998). In 2011 Kinga and Rachel left the band, and Annika (* 1998) and Kim (* 2000) joined them. In 2012 Patricia was replaced by Leoni (* 2000).

During their concert on World Children's Day 2016 in Cologne, the Tanzalarm-Kids and Singa Gätgens surprisingly announced that this would be their last public appearance, as they would all stop together this year. It is the second, complete replacement of the band since it was founded. Gätgens stated that it was a decision by the broadcaster that “younger people should do it again.” Regardless of this, it is now time for Annika, Lara, Kim and Leoni to take care of their school and professional future . The four new Tanzalarm kids since 2017 are Hannah (* 2005), Käthe (* 2004), Luna (* 2005) and Larissa (* 2006).
