Tapikka (modern: Maşat Höyük ) was a Hittite city in northern central Anatolia , 20 km south of Zile . Together with Šanaḫuitta , Taptiga, Takašta, Katapa , Karaḫna and the capital Ḫattuša , she was responsible for the supply of the mountain god Taḫa in Zippalanda .

Tapikka was in the border province against the Kaškäer and suffered repeatedly from their attacks. Eventually the Kaškäer were able to conquer them, as well as Takašta and Taptiga, according to Özgüç between 1410 and 1380 BC. The town was recaptured and rebuilt under Šuppiluliuma I , as evidenced by the king's seal.

In 1943, a tablet with Hittite cuneiform writing was discovered on the surface of Maşat Höyük . Excavations have been taking place since 1973. Two stamp seals of Tudiegelaliya II and numerous clay tablets were discovered during the excavations .

The weather god and the local deity Tamiššiya were worshiped in Tapikka .
