Taras Michailowitsch Myskiw ( Russian Тарас Михайлович Мыськив , English transcription : Taras Myskiv; born February 7, 1996 in Moscow ) is a Russian beach volleyball player .

Career

Myskiw played with various partners at national and European tournaments from 2014 to 2017. At the U21 World Cup in Lucerne in 2016 , he finished fifth with Maxim Siwolap . In March 2018 he became European snow volleyball champion alongside Ruslan Dajanow after winning the final against the German duo Paul Becker / Jonas Schröder . With Alexander Kramarenko , Pëtr Bahnar and Iwan Golowin , Myskiw had some top ten results in 1 and 2 star tournaments on the FIVB World Tour .

From August 2018 Myskiw started with Valeryj Samodai . On the World Tour, Myskiw / Samodai won the 1-star tournaments in Ljubljana and Vaduz . At the 3-star tournament in Qinzhou they came second. Myskiw has been playing with Nikita Ljamin since May 2019 . After two fifth places in the 4-star tournaments in Jinjiang and Warsaw , the two Russians qualified for the World Cup in Hamburg , where they finished ninth.
