Tarassiwka ( Ukrainian Тарасівка ; Russian Тарасовка Tarassowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast with about 5,000 inhabitants (2004).
Tarasivka is the administrative center of the eponymous, 51.27 km² district council in the district of Kiev-Svyatoschyn , to which the village Nowe ( Нове ⊙ ) with about 380 inhabitants belongs.
The village is located 22 km southwest of the city center of Kiev on the bank of the small river Vitjanka (Ukrainian Вітянка ). Tarasivka borders in the west on the municipality of the city of Boyarka and has a train station on the Kiev – Fastiw railway line .
