Tarassiwka ( Ukrainian Тарасівка ; Russian Тарасовка Tarassowka ) is a village in the south of Ukraine Sumy with about 600 inhabitants (2016).
The village, founded in 1663, is the only place in the district of the same name in the north of the Welyka Pyssariwka district .
The village is located on 119 m height on the banks of this meandering Worsklyzja , a 101 km long right tributary of Vorskla , 18 km northwest of the Rajonzentrum Welyka Pyssariwka and 75 km southeast of the Oblastzentrum Sumy .
To the south of the village runs the territorial road Т – 19–23 , which meets the regional road Р – 45 to the east of the village .
