Welyka Pyssariwka ( Ukrainian Велика Писарівка ; Russian Великая Писаревка Velikaja Pissarewka , Polish Pisarówka ) is an urban-type settlement in the southeast of Sumy Oblast in Ukraine, right on the border with the Russian Oblast of Belgorod (2016).
Welyka Pyssariwka was founded in 1709 and is the administrative center of the raion of the same name , since 1959 it has had the status of an urban-type settlement.

Welyka Pyssariwka is located on the banks of the Worskla about 90 km southeast of the Sumy Oblast center , on the regional road P 45 . The small Russian town of Graiworon is located 18 km northeast of the settlement. In addition to Welyka Pyssariwka, the settlement council also includes the village of Ponomarenky ( Пономаренки ) with around 60 inhabitants (2016).
