Tarchankut ( Ukrainian Тарханкутський півострів Tarchankutskyj piwostriw , Crimean Tatar Tarhanqut yarımadası , Russian Тарханкутский полуостров ) is a peninsula at the western end of Crimea .
The peninsula has an area of 1550 km² and is up to 179 m high. In the north of the peninsula is the Karkinitska Bay .
There is an underwater museum for divers off the coast.
