Tatiana Crkoňová (born January 7, 1992 in Považská Bystrica ) is a Slovak volleyball player .

Career

Crkoňová started her career in her hometown. Her aunt made contact with the association when Crkoňová was in the third year of school. She initially wanted to play basketball , but that was not possible in the club. In parallel to volleyball, she was initially also active in athletics . From Považská Bystrica she moved to the first division club Doprastav Bratislava . With Doprastav she won the national cup in 2008 and the double of championship and cup in 2009. In addition, the middle blocker reached fourth place with the Slovak juniors at the European Championships in the Netherlands . After all of these successes, she paused her career to advance in her studies.

After her return, she played with the national junior team at the 2011 World Cup in Peru . At the club she won the trophy again in 2011 and the double a year later. In 2013 she was runner-up with Bratislava. She then moved to the German Bundesliga team Ladies in Black Aachen, just like her coach Marek Rojko . With Aachen she reached the semifinals of the German championship in 2014. In the 2015/16 season she was with the Ladies in Black in the DVV Cup final , which was lost 3-2 to Allianz MTV Stuttgart . In the 2015/16 Bundesliga season, the Aacheners were eliminated in the pre-playoffs and had to file for bankruptcy, whereupon Crkoňová left the club. with the national team she was in the final of the European league in summer 2016 . Since November 2016 she has been playing for the second division club VC Neuwied 77 .
