Tatiana Nikolajewna Azarova ( Russian Татьяна Николаевна Азарова , English transcription Tatyana Azarova ; born December 2, 1985 in Ekibastus ) is a former Kazakh hurdler of Russian origin who specialized in the 400-meter distance .

She played her first international competition at the age of 15 in July 2001 at the second World Athletics Championships in Debrecen, but was eliminated there in the preliminary stages. At the Athletics Junior Asian Championships in 2004 in Ipoh she won bronze with 58.59 s, at the Junior Athletics World Championships in Grosseto a month later she was sixth with 58.41 s.

In her first international competition in the adult area, the Asian Championships in 2005 in Incheon , she was seventh. In 2006 she was sixth at the Asian Games in Doha and won silver with the Kazakh team in the 4 x 400 meter relay . At the 2007 Summer Universiade , she won gold in 55.52 seconds.

In 2007 she reached the semi-finals at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka . At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, the 2009 World Championships in Berlin and the 2012 Olympic Games in London, she did not get past the lead.

In 2007 Tatiana Azarova competed in Almaty as well as in an indoor competition in Macau in the 400-meter run.

She is married and has a son.

In 2008 she successfully completed a degree in turbine construction at the Ekibastus Technical University.
