Tatiana Andreevna Talysheva
Tatjana Andrejewna Talyschewa ( Russian Татьяна Андреевна Талышева , English transcription Tatyana Talysheva ; born October 15, 1937 in Barnaul ) is a former Soviet long jumper and hurdler .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she reached the semi-finals in the 80-meter hurdles and was tenth in the long jump. In 1966 she came in sixth place in the long jump of the European Athletics Championships in Budapest .
In 1968 she won at the Olympic Games in Mexico City in the long jump with 6.66 m, the bronze medal behind the Romanian Viorica Viscopoleanu , who set a world record with 6.82 m, and the British Sheila Sherwood (6.68 m). She was eighth in the 80 m hurdles.
In the open air she was the Soviet champion in the long jump in 1967 and 1968 as well as in the 80 m hurdles in 1968, indoors she won the national title in the long jump in 1967.
