Baptismal font in Maxent

The baptismal font in the Catholic Church of St-Maxent in Maxent , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created in the 15th century. In 1919, the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The octagonal baptismal font made of granite stands on a base with four set columns. At each corner of the pool there is a human head and plant motifs in between.
