Taufkirchen is a district and a district of the municipality of Falkenberg in the Lower Bavarian district of Rottal-Inn .

The place is located on the slope of the 482 m high Haselberg, 4 km southwest of Falkenberg and almost 6 km northwest of Eggenfelden . Until the municipal reform Taufkirchen was a separate municipality with the districts Amelgering , Geiersberg , Großkay , Guglmucken , Hausleiten , box , Latzelsberg , Pendlöd , Perterting , Ponzaunöd , Ranzing , Remmelsberg in Falkenberg , Schoenberg , plug , forest and Wölfing . In 1972 all places were incorporated into Falkenberg.
