Tauperlitz and Neutauperlitz are two merged districts of the municipality of Döhlau in the district of Hof .
The tower hill castle Tauperlitz not far from the southern Regnitz is significant in terms of settlement history . A memorial stone in the park commemorates the Tauperlitz-born artist Thea von Harbou . The settlement took place along an old road . Local noble families like the Uttenhofen , the Rabensteiner zu Döhlau and the Waldenfels were wealthy there. In the Markgraftum Brandenburg-Kulmbach there was a manor as part of the Vogtland knighthood , which was endowed with the right to be in writing . The architectural monuments include two stone crosses and a stable house .
The district road HO 5 connects the place with Hof and Kautendorf . The Erlöserkirche belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Dean's Office in Hof . At the Tauperlitzer See u. a. the Tauperlitzer Seefest takes place.
