Tautvydas Barštys
Tautvydas Barštys (born September 5, 1958 in Balkasodis , Alytus district ) is a Lithuanian manager and entrepreneur , liberal politician from Kaunas .
Life
After middle school Barštys graduated in 1977 the Polytechnic in Alytus and was technicians and mechanics . In 2005 he completed the MBA course at the Technical University of Kaunas and in 2009 the master's course at the Lietuvos veterinarijos akademija (LVA). On May 23, 2014, he received his doctorate from the Veterinary Academy of the University of Health Sciences of Lithuania in zoo technology on the subject of "Influence of selenium and vitamin E on productivity, digestive processes and product quality of broiler broilers ". His supervisor was Prof. Romas Gružauskas .
In 1993 he founded the company " Kauno grūdai " and became chairman of the group of companies. From 2003 to 2007 he was a member of the LLDP list and since 2007 he has been a member of Liberalų ir centro sąjunga in the Kaunas City Council .
Since April 2006 he has been the president of the Lithuanian Association of grain processing ( Lietuvos grūdų perdirbėjų asociacija ).
