Tea Gueci (born December 26, 1999 in Palermo ) is an Italian chess player .

successes

GUECI whose father Alberto GUECI an Honored International Master in correspondence chess is started at the age of 7 years with the chess. She won the Italian youth championships in 2009 in the U10 female age group and in the U12 female age group in 2011 and took part in five youth world and five European youth championships , with her greatest success being seventh at the U12 female world championship in 2011 in Caldas Novas . In July 2012, Tea Gueci won the Italian women's championship in Acqui Terme , making her the youngest player to do so. Gueci has been the International Women's Champion since 2019. By this time she had already fulfilled five standards, namely in July 2014 at the FE 5 Terra degli Elimi in Erice , in November 2017 at the European Women's Team Championships in Limenas Chersonisou (each with overachievement), in August 2018 at the Open Intl de Sants Hostafrancs i Bordeta GA in Barcelona , in February 2019 at the 33eme Festival Intl des Jeux de Cannes - Open A in Cannes (with overachievement) and in March 2019 at the Individual European Championship in Skopje .

National team

Gueci took part with the Italian women's selection in the 2014 Chess Olympiad , the 2013, 2017 and 2019 European Team Championships and the 2016, 2018 and 2019 Mitropacups .

In Italy, Gueci played for Circolo Palermitano Scacchi , Circolo Scacchi R. Fischer Chieti , with whom she won the Italian women's team championship in 2015 and took part in the European Women's Club Cup in 2013 and 2015, and for Caissa Italia Pentole Agnelli , with whom she won the Italian team in 2019 Women's team championship won. In the Austrian women's Bundesliga, Tea Gueci played in the 2019/20 season for the Kufstein club, Schach ohne Grenzen .
