BVL-Technologieradar (own spelling technologieradar) is a website for the identification and evaluation of new technologies in the warehouse .

The project sponsor is BVL.digital GmbH, a company of the Bundesvereinigung Logistik BVL. eV The data of the technology radar are based on the results of the BVL thematic group “Digital warehouse”, to which more than 20 logistics experts from well-known industrial , trading and service companies belong. The investigations cover four hardware technology fields ("Cyber-physical systems", " Funding and conveyor systems", "Identification technologies" and "Automated systems") and four software application areas (" Planning ", " Optimization ", " Monitoring & Control ") as well as " Administration ").

In addition, the experts give an assessment of the warehouse processes in which they are used, how they work and where the opportunities and technical limits lie. An assessment of performance , process quality , standardization and costs supplements the expertise .

The project is supported by the Huss group of companies and the management consultancy Capgemini invent . In addition to the technology reviews the editorial teams of logistics journals provide logistics Today , Logistra and Logistics relevant news for the website.

The "BVL technology radar" was presented to the public at the 36th German Logistics Congress (October 23-25, 2019, Berlin ).
