Teckomatorp is a place ( tätort ) in the municipality of Svalöv the Swedish province County Skåne .
Until 1979 there was a factory in Teckomatorp of what was then BT Kemi, a manufacturer of chemical products, which in 1976 triggered one of the biggest environmental scandals in Sweden. The company had barrels with production waste hidden in the nearby ground. The lengthy renovation of the site should be completed by autumn 2020.
