Kågeröd is a place ( tätort ) in the southern Swedish province County Skåne and the historic province of Scania . It is located in the municipality of Svalöv .

Transport links

In Kågeröd the country roads ( Länsväg ) 109 and 106 intersect. The railway line Godsstråket genom Skåne (also Söderåsbanan ) runs through Kågeröd . The route is currently being renovated and from 2021 a separate stop for passenger traffic is planned for the place.

Attractions

In Kågeröd there is a Romanesque church from the 12th century. To the south-east of the village there is the Knutstorp ring, a motorsport racing track and Knutstorp Castle . The astronomer Tycho Brahe was born here on December 14, 1546 .
