history
The place was first mentioned as the location of an individual property in 1600. The village belonged to the Milkel manor at the latest this year. The place was in the Kingdom of Saxony until 1815. After the defeat of Napoleon and the Congress of Vienna , the new Saxon-Prussian border ran north of the town. As a result, several neighboring towns were now on Prussian territory. The situation was defused by the customs union with Prussia in 1834, which benefited the place. With the incorporation of Milkel to Radibor, which took place in 1999, Teicha also became part of this municipality.
