Tele-GYM is a television program broadcast on Bavarian Radio .

At Tele-GYM, various gymnastics exercises are presented in front of the camera . The program is structured in such a way that viewers can participate in the exercises in front of the screen.

For the first time, an episode of Tele-Gym was broadcast on April 6th in the joint morning program of ARD and ZDF. The first broadcast on BR television took place on November 2, 1991.

The forerunner was the program Tele-Ski with Rosi Mittermaier , Jürgen Kemmler and Manfred Vorderwülbecke , which from 1977 showed ski gymnastics on television. When aerobics became modern in 1989, cameraman Peter Stückl and editor Vorderwülbecke hired Christiane Reiter , the second German aerobics champion . They shot the first episodes in the BR studio in Unterföhring . The episodes have been produced in front of a natural backdrop since 2001. To date, 40 seasons have been produced.

The program is currently seen by 180,000 viewers.
